Mmmmmmmmmmmmm good lunch !

Start with a grilled burger with peppered bacon, cheddar, tomato,
onion, and garlic toasted brotchen and
whatever else goes on the plate,
it just doesn't matter.

Man and Good Dog working in the woods.

It is a Spring-Fall like day and Wayne has a few acres where
he wants to use his chain saw to make pathways and special
clearings in the woods.
'Good Dog' is with him, having changed his name from Tar.

Say hello to Tar, which is Rat spelled backwards.

Geoff, Kathryn, and Allison were on their way to the arcade at our local mall
 when....
"Stop the car, we have to save that dog"
Well, some love, LOTS of Wayne/Laura conversations, and Vet bills later,
MEET TAR, who looked like
a rat when first introduced.

When you build a 'ship' in the basement, make sure you can get it out.

At the top of the stairs and ...
no way will it fit.
So out the back of the house via the patio door, up,
around the side of the house to the front yard and
in the through the front door.  Upstairs to the bedroom,
take a door off its hinges, to finally arrive.

Take the workshop scraps, design, cut, paint, and decorate and a DORA bed appears.

Well, there were quite a few steps before this assembly, lots of
drawing, erasing, and figuring.

Wayne went to Lowe's with a ribbon color
sample to select the perfect pink.  He's a good Grandpa!
Next, Mor Mor will decorate and add bedding.

A craft project is fun to do when it is a cold and snowy day.

First, I helped Mor Mor sew the pink bow on the front.
Then, I sewed two bear shapes together using
yarn and a special, pink bendy-needle.
I found stuffing my bear to be so easy that I could even
watch Dora on TV while working.
Every once and awhile I had to check my progress.
I am quite pleased with the finished product.  Although, later in the
day, I just 'had' to remove the eyes I had previously glued.
This was fun to do many, many times.
Eventually, Mor Mor sewed yarn eyes, which seems to last longer.
I can jump on the couch with my new teddy bear. The next day,
Mommy told Mor Mor that during the car ride home to Daddy,
my new teddy bear likes to stay on my head.
