When soldering copper pipes it is best to check that indeed

all joints were soldered.  If not, water does tend spurt with amazing

speed and quantity when it is turned back on.  What's the next

OK, the old one has been disconnected.

Always need fire.  It turned out that all  joints were not

soldered, but instead epoxy was used.  Mighty strong epoxy at that.
