Always time for a project

This is serious work.

Winter Skies

Decorating for Christmas, inside and outside

Wayne and Geoff creating a candy cane that can
be seen from the highway, a beacon to our house.
Pool pole comes in handy during the winter.

A wee bit of Thanksgiving

 just getting started
Gee wiz, they're always goofy eyes with each other.
While they're talking, this is all I have on my
plate for Thanksgiving dinner.
Dessert was a new recipe from the Food
Network, pears poached in spices & wine with marscapone.
Oh yes, there was also a chocolate cake.
The next day there were snacks of baked brie
and crackers with leftovers.
Ice cream and waffle cookie can be a good snack.

Dry Rot is Not Nice, we don't like it one bit.

Early morning, the job starts on Monday.
They prevented all sawdust from coming in.
Old door frame with new glass we had put in
a few months back.
 No door
 Hmmmmm, who took this picture?
In the basement looking up to the front door.
Talking about how to get the glass panels out to refit
into the new door frame.
Not easy an easy job, and none was broken.
 There were five trucks.
Good Dog observes as old glass is taken out.
 cold, grey sky
Hmmmmm, looks just like the old door,
some people don't like change.
Wayne was so glad to have someone
else do this.
