We had some projects to do

 We made a kaleidoscope.
Leap Frog from Mor Mor's closet of wonders, bought at
clearance, saved for years.

This is my solar energy experiment that we built with
no directions.
Covering the solar panel with a science wand to make the fan stop.
Packed and ready to go home.
 There's sticky caterpillar in there.
 Across the street with friends

"You have scarecrows!"
 Solar energy and dogs.
 Making 'Fairy Flower Friends'
Time for bed.
Do you see Good Dog stealing a drink of
soda?

'Lunch Bunch School'

Alli is now staying to eat lunch at her
preschool with the 'lunch bunch'.  Kathryn
talked with the teacher to find out why
every piece of food that was packed,
came home.  The reply was that most kids
were a bit bewildered about eating at
school. They just sat and stared at each
other. So we role played today, and she
chomped away, ate all her lunch, learned how
to open and close baggies, twist the thermos, arranged
her lunch, and what gets put back into
the lunch bag and what gets thrown away. She also
practiced lunch bunch conversation with
fellow student, Wayne (rather large three year old,
but well manered. They asked each other
what pets they had at home and what they
had to eat for lunch.

SIDENOTE: We went the nature center before lunch.
It seems that Allison was already in the
role playing mode.  Some boys asked her
what her name was, she replied,
"Sebastien Marke."  We asked her three times
what her name was, and heard the same reply.
Can't explain.
The cookie was eaten last, but it's posted first.
 Good turkey and cheese sandwich
 Keeping track of the cookie
 Big bite
Juice pouches are sometimes hard to manage.
I am a Lunch Bunch Girl.

A great sunny day brings a few creatures out and about

Can you see the walking stick?

So goes the door

The door screws finally arrived among numerous assorted
bits and pieces that we didn't request.  Wayne replaced the fence
on the right so that the pool area is secure.  Well, Butch crawls
under the deck to get in.  Wayne will replace the fence to
the right of the gazebo with a locked gate.  There will
be decking to the right and left of the gazebo for chairs and the
grill.  Also, at a later date, the stairs are going to be taken out.
