A wee bit of Thanksgiving

 just getting started
Gee wiz, they're always goofy eyes with each other.
While they're talking, this is all I have on my
plate for Thanksgiving dinner.
Dessert was a new recipe from the Food
Network, pears poached in spices & wine with marscapone.
Oh yes, there was also a chocolate cake.
The next day there were snacks of baked brie
and crackers with leftovers.
Ice cream and waffle cookie can be a good snack.

Dry Rot is Not Nice, we don't like it one bit.

Early morning, the job starts on Monday.
They prevented all sawdust from coming in.
Old door frame with new glass we had put in
a few months back.
 No door
 Hmmmmm, who took this picture?
In the basement looking up to the front door.
Talking about how to get the glass panels out to refit
into the new door frame.
Not easy an easy job, and none was broken.
 There were five trucks.
Good Dog observes as old glass is taken out.
 cold, grey sky
Hmmmmm, looks just like the old door,
some people don't like change.
Wayne was so glad to have someone
else do this.

Build a Bear at home

Alli is so intent on choosing the 'just right ' embellishments.
 Sewing the bear's purse
Sometimes there is so much hard work going on, that a short
rest will really help.

Backyard Birds Class and Tales about Animal Tails Puppet show

Allison was asked to help teach the group, she zoomed up
to the front of the class to help out.

 using binoculars to see birds
After the puppet show it was time to go behind the scenes.

Halloween was here and left in a candy flash, onward to November

Smile!
Alli and Grandpa created a great scarecrow. As it took shape in
the living room, Allison had a very worried look on her face
and declared that she did not like this 'person' being created
before her eyes. It was too real and very creepy.
No time for pictures, let's go Grandpa.

The 'little pony' in the back left is crying crocodile tears because
she thinks her mom is giving all her loot to Allison.

Fairy Alli

I made a slide show of these pictures so people would not have to
scroll down so much. But, the slide show floated the pictures
into view and that was annoying. Wayne took so many thinking
we could be creative with sequencing them, but here's the
same old manner of posting.
